Does your life feel like a circus? Does it seem you’re living in a zoo? Are you busy, busy, busy? Whether you’re in “Family Time at the Circus,”  “Confetti Days,” “Zoo Train,” “Busy Days,” “Sign & Sing,” or an “ABC Music & Me Class,” life can be that way both in AND out of class!

Every day is an adventure and I have to tell you, my job is the best! Spending time with you and your children each week is an incredible job. Believe me, I have had some interesting jobs in the past. Most of them have involved working with children in some way, and here are a couple of my favorites.

I was never in a circus, but I helped take care of triplets right when they came home from the hospital. They were all on monitors, just in case they stopped breathing or were experiencing any other problems at the time. The parents were amazing, but I don’t know how anyone with multiples can do it without some help. I was only there during the day!

If you’ve have ever been in a “Zoo Train” class, you can appreciate this one! I was a nanny for 3 children whose parents raised all the big cats for zoos. Yes, BIG cats…lions, tigers, and panthers, oh my! So, I not only had the kiddos to take care of, but a baby panther and a baby snow leopard to bottle-feed. (Ask me about the scar on my leg from when we were playing together. No, it wasn’t from the kids!)

They were really great jobs and I still keep in touch with both families!

What I love about my job as a Kindermusik Educator is the community we develop together. I hope the support and bonds we build will last a lifetime. I hold each and every one of your children close to my heart. Have a wonderful summer!
